1. - Our Commitment

Gem Roberts – Systems Strategist is committed to making this website accessible and useable for as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

1.1 - What We Are Doing

  • The Elementor Ally accessibility plugin provides a floating widget allowing visitors to adjust font size, contrast, animation settings and other display preferences. 
  • We aim to use clear, plain language throughout the site. 
  • We aim to ensure sufficient colour contract between text and backgrounds.
  • We aim to include descriptive text on all images.
  • We aim to ensure the site is navigable by keyboard.

Elementor Ally significantly reduces accessibility barriers but no automated plugin can guarantee full WCAG compliance We continue to work toward this standard.

As a private sector business we are not legally required to comply with the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018, but we are committed to meeting the same standards as a matter of good practice and inclusion.
